A Taste of My Work

I haven't ever actually saved anything that I've written because, quite honestly, I don't usually write as a hobby. I only write when required to but I've heard that I'm pretty good at it, so I figured I'd take this class and see what I can whip up. This is what I wrote in my journal last week when the theme was "Come here a minute. I want to show you something."

The Secret Box

"Come here a minute. I want to show you something."
"What is it?"
"Look inside."
"Oh my gosh... How did you get this?"
"I bought it."
"But that's got to be worth so much money! It's HUGE! What were you planning on doing with it?"
"Well, that depends. Do you like it?"
"It's beautiful, but what are you going to-"
"Will you marry me?"
